New Ipad Pro 10.5 - Spending too much money

So on Monday I went on a little spending spree! Although 'little' wouldn't exactly be the word I'd use to describe how much I spent at the Apple store in Glasgow. It was definitely a lot! However, I did get a student discount off the Ipad, the Apple Pencil, the protective case and the promotional free Beats, so all in all it was actually pretty good.

I'd been pining for the Ipad Pro since the original one came out at the tail-end of 2015, but the size of it initially put me off. I had been holding out for ages before finally deciding to just buy one. I settled for the newer 10.5 inch model with 64GB of memory, which is the smallest memory size for the 2nd generation Ipad Pro now.

Also, does anyone else love getting new technology and then spending ages customising it? That's literally the first thing I do whenever I get anything new, I spend at least the first thirty minutes choosing fonts, colours, wallpapers etc. Definitely one of the best things for me!

I tried to take some clear photos of it but where I'm currently staying there is a distinct lack of natural light that comes in the window during the day and it's already getting darker quicker now. I also used my phone for these, but I don't think they turned out too bad.

I'm absolutely smitten with the Ipad Pro. Is that weird to say? I don't care, I love it. I've barely touched my laptop since getting it and I literally carry it everywhere with me. Although I love how seamlessly Apple products all work with each other without the need to use a cable, so when I do need to use my laptop I just airdrop any files I need to transfer and it pops right over. It'll be even better when ios 11 launches in September.

I'll be doing a proper review of it shortly once I've gotten to grips with everything in it. So far I'm getting by with the minimum but I really want to use it to it's full potential. I've really been enjoying using Adobe Sketch and Procreate for drawing and graphics, plus all the note taking apps make me so happy, especially since I bullet journal!

Hopefully it'll help with college as well. It still hasn't sunk in that I'm going to back to study again either, it's going to be weird. Good, but weird.
